Based in Northern California, I compose music inspired by a wide range of traditions, from Western medieval to contemporary post-minimalist styles. Most of my work takes on an intervallic approach, using specific pitch relationships to shape both harmonic and melodic development. I’ve written extensively for solo piano, piano four-hands, and chamber ensembles.
